As an owner of a ‘09 rubicon, I found it interesting seeing you take it apart and diagnose. When you pulled the fill cap and didn’t get sprayed, I know something was up. Mine will make a mess in short order if you were to even try to check the oil when it’s running! It’ll be a nice unit when fixed.
I thought he was draining water and not oil into the pan. (at 3:12) He said they drained it at the dealer and never filled it, so when the scene cut to the oil coming out, the wind and the clean oil made it look like water. I was like he has bigger problems now! Glad they did fill it with oil...
Yeah the owner told me that they did not put oil back in it apparently they told him wrong LOL. When I check the oil there was no oil on the dipstick in the reservoir so it must have all went down into the sump.
I gave you a thumbs up and I subscribe to your channel cuz I feel like you are being honest with me. And as long as I feel that way about you I will continue supporting your. I wish you and yours a happy New Year.. and look forward to the next video.
Well it's not building oil pressure so it going to be a little loud up top. Once I fix the oil pressure issue then I will double check valve clearances

You're going to be amazed at what I find. I'm actually in the process of shooting the video as we speak. Just got the motor pulled out yesterday.

Well do done.
Sounds like the valve or valve’s need to be lashed
